Jessica Simpson Meets With 'Dallas' Producers (Celebrity Secrets)

Jessica Simpson has confirmed that she is in the running to play the role of Lucy Ewing in the new film version of 'Dallas'.
The singer/actress has met with film's producers but does not have the role in the ag just yet.
She said to MTV that winning the role would be an honour for me. I'm a Texas girl, so you can't go wrong there.
"However it all works out, I'm just kind of going with the flow. One day at a time."
However, she has other people then just the film's producers to worry about. Charlene Tilton who played Ewing in the original 1980's soap has declared Simpson too old for the part.
Others rumoured to be in the film include John Travolta, Luke Wilson and Catherine Zeta Jones.
