Red Hot Chili Peppers Return (Celebrity Secrets)
Thursday, April 13, 2006
Ever since the Red Hot Chili Peppers hit the stage in the early '80s with their socks out, they've been a favorite of those who like their music as mixed-up and spicy as they like their salsa fresca. But the boys have been out of the scene for a few years, releasing only live concert albums and greatest hits collections—their last studio album was "By the Way" way back when in 2002.
Now, with a brand new single and video release, the Chili Peppers are heating up Search. Queries on the group piped up 108% last week, pushing them into the top 500 searches of the week. Their new single, "Dani California," (+591%) registered at least a nine on the chili pepper hotness scale, right behind "dani california lyrics" (+1,140%).
So, to our red-hot chums Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frusciante, and Chad Smith, we bid you a hearty welcome back. We remember when you told us that true men don't kill coyotes, and we look forward to rocking out in your new "Stadium Arcadium."
