More Da Vinci Lies! (Celebrity Secrets)

Throughout the recent furore caused by the Da Vinci Code, the real victims of Dan Brown's lies, misappropriation of facts and history, and attempts to pass off fiction as truth have been conspicuously absent from most media reports.
Thats right, French Female Cryptographers.
These poor unsung heroes are furious, outraged even, at the suggestion that they might be....attractive?
It seems that the Alliance of French Female Cryptographers is concerned about the stereotyping Tautou’s portrayal of Sophie Neveu, the seductive cryptographer heroine, might promote. They released a statement in which they articulated their concerns;
“What’s important is that people realise not all female cryptographers are enchanting, or even sexy. Some of us are thoroughly plain, bordering on dowdy, and couldn’t smile in a cutesy, pixie-ish manner if we tried.”
What a terrible injustice! At least now we can all sleep easy at night knowing that these brave women have set the record straight once and for all. As for the rest of us, however, we can only pray that no one ever dares portray us as good looking or sexy.
