The singer's best pal, CaCee Cobb, recently resigned as her assistant to pursue behind-the-scenes work in the entertainment industry.

Ashlee Simpson Admits To Nose Job (Celebrity Secrets)

A representative for Ashlee Simpson has confirmed that her client has undergone a nose job.

The younger Simpson sister looks even more like Jessica these days without her hooked nose and with loads of blonde hair.

According to BreakingNews.com, the younger sister underwent a rhinoplasty operation on April 21 in a LA clinic.

She was pictured over the weekend sporting a much smaller but less interesting nose at a warm up performance for her North American tour that kicks off this weekend.

A rep for Ashlee allegedly told US Weekly that she had had a bump removed from her nose: "Ashlee is as beautiful as ever. When the swelling goes down, it's going to look really cute."

Nicole and DJ AM off again? (Celebrity Secrets)

'Simple Life' star Nicole Richie and her fiancé/boyfriend Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein are rumoured to have split once again.

The couple rekindled their relationship early this year after calling off their engagement last year.

The E! Entertainment network broke the news last night on their 'Daily Ten' programme saying: "Back to Ms Richie for a moment. The Daily Ten has just learned that her on-again/off-again relationship with DJ AM is officially over."

The reasons for the split are of yet unknown.

OOPS She Dropped Her Kid Again! (Celebrity Secrets)

Oops pop princess Britney Spears almost dropped tatter tot AGAIN! Brit Brit was leaving her New York City hotel, holding a drink in her right hand and Sean in her left as she tried to get through a crowd of onlookers. As Britney tried to move through the crow she suddently tripped and the baby's head went backward and his hat flew off his head. Britney regained her balance and the baby seemed ok. Note to yourself, if you are famous, you need an entourage, you can't travel without getting attacked.

After the incident Britney Spears said "This is why I need a gun." What is the deal with Britney's luck? It seems like every move she makes something breaks. Girlfriend, get that Kaballah bracelet back on your hand, you need some luck.

Well, wouldn't you know it, Christina Aguilera has gone and used nudity to promote her new album. Now, I have nothing against nudity, especially celebrity nudity, but I've always wondered how posing naked on a magazine cover really translates to extra album sales. I mean, do people really expect to find a nude Christina Aguilera on the album? I guess all's fair in album promotion, and attention is attention, but it just doesn't make sense to me. Then again, it seems to have worked for Madonna, and Samantha Fox...

Jessica Alba Looks Stupid in Leggings (Celebrity Secrets)

So, I was out on the town the other night, hanging out with a pal, and I noticed something. There was an inordinate number of girls wearing leggings. A lot of leopard print long shirts, and black leggings. I think I saw at least 20 girls in leggings, and one thing was true about all of them. They looked ridiculous.

I don't know who started this stupid trend, but I do know who popularised it. Celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, and Sienna Miller have done nothing to improve the fashion sense of young women everywhere, by propogating this annoying trend. And now, Jessica Alba is making it worse.

Jessica Alba looks stupid wearing leggings. There I said it. The three-quarter length leggings are this year's Ugg boot, and are just as dumb. Why on earth would you want to go and ruin a perfectly cute dress, by wearing ugly black leggings underneath?

To all the girls who read this blog, stop wearing leggings. If you're doing it because you think the latest trends will impress us guys, you're wrong. We think it's dumb. Go back to wearing skirts, or jeans, or any other regular clothes that have always looked good. Don't pay attention to Jessica Alba. Unless she's wearing a bikini. Bikinis are good too.

The Hollywood actor Johnny Depp was followed by celebrities George Clooney, Matt Damon, Al Pacino and Tom Cruise in the top five in Autograph Collector's 14th annual survey of celebrity signers.

Many stars become bad signers once fame and fortune hit, but not Depp.

Angelina Jolie Launches a Home African Design Line (Celebrity Secrets)

According to the news, the Hollywood celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are launching a range of traditional African home-ware products. It seems Angelina Jolie confirmed that the collection will be launched at an art fair in Paris this September and all proceeds from the collection will be donated to a local Namibian community. According to a source the range combines the celebrity couple's two passions: Brad's with the design and Angelina with humanitarian work.

Thanks to the US Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie, who is working with craftsmen in Namibia to create an assortment of rugs, pottery and other household items, local families will have a source of income for Angelina's range of traditional African home-ware products.

Naomi Watts to Raise AIDS Awareness (Celebrity Secrets)

Well, you can now add another celebrity to the list of stars doing not really that much to help the world. Naomi Watts has been named as a special United Nations envoy on HIV/AIDS, according to Yahoo! News, and has recently joined a UNAIDS mission to Zambia where she visited clinics, hospitals, schools and shelters.

UNAIDS said that in the role, Watts would "use her talent and profile to raise AIDS awareness and give greater voice to the needs of people living with HIV worldwide."

Watts said she was "humbled and inspired" by those she met.

"I only hope that, as a UNAIDS Special Representative, I can do my small part to raise AIDS awareness and to encourage greater international support for the vital work being done on the ground," she said in a statement.
Now, don't get me wrong, I think it's good that celebrities try to do their best, but this is really just a way for the UN to show that it's trying to raise awareness for AIDS, rather than actually raising awareness. Though I guess it does raise awareness indirectly. Ultimitely, it's a PR stunt, but I guess, as PR stunts go, it's as noble as they get.

Of course, if Naomi Watts really wants to raise awareness for AIDS, I think wearing see-through shirts like this one could be a good starting point. Because as everyone knows, nipples are a great way of getting attention. She may not raise awareness, but she'll definitely raise something.

It was only a matter of time until someone wrote a song about Paris Hilton. Comic Mark Manne put together a little tribute called "Everything That is Wrong with America Today (a k a The Paris Hilton Song)." Here are some of the lyrics:

The War Is On Between Lindsay Lohan And Paris Hilton (Celebrity Secrets)

Ohhhh. Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan apparently bitched it up at Hyde on Friday night, in Hollywood. The two were trash talking one another in a face-to-face bitch fest. Why can't all the young starlets get along?

Paris' rep, Elliot Mintz, plays down the incident. "Inside the club," he says, "Paris was having a conversation with a couple friends. Lindsay approached her table and at that moment Paris felt she was being interrupted and didn't wish to speak with Lindsay. A couple of words were exchanged and Lindsay went back to her table. I can understand how other patrons in the club could have thought it had been a bigger deal then it actually was."
Sources tell TMZ that the root of this apparent tension may be because Lindsay has recently been on a publicity campaign for her new film, 'Just My Luck.' Sources say Paris is upset because during the campaign Lindsay has mentioned Paris' name in interviews with the media. They say Paris feels as if Lindsay is using Paris' name to further her career.

Our own Josh Levine caught up with Nicky, Paris and their friend Brandon Davis leaving the club, who had a few choice words of his own to say about the redheaded star.

Lindsay's publicist told TMZ, "Lindsay doesn't need to drop names to get publicity. She has talent, great style and beauty."

Yes, and we all know that neither of them have every used anyone for sake of publicity. We all know that this is about the fact that Lindsay Lohan has chosen to stay friends with Nicole Richie, the arch enemy of Paris Hitlon.

Hilton Mother's Day gifts stolen (Celebrity Secrets)

Paris and Nicky Hilton's extravagant Mother's Day gifts for their mom Kathy were stolen from outside the Hilton home. The thief got away with nearly $10,000 worth of Christian Dior shoes, bags, perfume and sunglasses, according to the family's spokeperson. "A fellow just whizzed by and grabbed the package," the spokesperson said. A delivery person had set a bag containing the gifts down at the gate to the Hilton home when a passenger in a car driving by snatched the parcel.

Britney Spears is defending her actions against allegations that she broke the law when she was photographed driving with son Sean facing forward in his car seat instead of facing the rear. According to the California motor vehicle code, it is safer for any child under twenty pounds or less than a year old to face the rear in a car seat. Britney's reps insist that Sean actually weighs more than twenty pounds, and said in a statement, "Having a child in the child safety seat facing forward in the rear seat of the car is in compliance with California law. There is no law in California requiring rear-facing seats. In fact, there are only ten states that require a child to be in a rear-facing seat, and in two of those states it is not required if the infant is more than twenty pounds. Britney's son Sean weighs over twenty pounds. As such, Britney Spears was in total compliance with California law..."

Mandy Moore says she's frustrated that she hasn't been able to push her music career past her teen image. She even has an entire album written and ready to take into the studio, but that her record label is stalling the project. "I don't know. It's depressing," she explains. "After more than two years as Jessica Simpson’s personal assistant, CaCee Cobb finally told her childhood friend that she wanted out. On May 7, Cobb celebrated her last day on the job with friends at Arnie Morton's Steakhouse in L.A. Fighting tears, Simpson, 25, raised her glass and said to Cobb, "You are my best friend. I will be your best friend forever." Simpson's rep confirms the professional parting of ways to Us, "It's true. They remain close."

Or do they? Once she gave notice, Cobb, 28, didn't waste time before catching up with her boss' ex, Nick Lachey. Last week, Cobb met Lachey at L.A. hot spot Shag and cornered him into a half-hour conversation, according to an eyewitness. "CaCee's still really close with Nick and adores him," says a source, who adds that Cobb has felt pressured to pick sides in the couple's divorce wars."
